How can I pay?
Our products are in CDN ( Canadian) currency.We use PayPal as our payment processor, so we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Or, you can pay using your PayPal balance. If you are from USA or another country, PayPal will automatically convert the amount to your country currency. *This means your purchase will cost even less since the CDN dollar is currently lower. A deodorant is approximatley $7.65 US.
Is your site secure?
Yes. You pay through PayPal, the world's premier electronic payment solution, not through this site. We never even see your credit card number; PayPal just tells us that you've paid and we ship you your goodies. We get your money through PayPal later.
Do I have to have a PayPal account to pay?
No, you can pay with your credit card without a PayPal account.

How much does shipping cost?
Items are processed within 1-3 days and then shipped via Canada Post. The average delivery time to the USA/Canada is 5-9 days.
Canada = $9.95 CDN flat rate ( with tracking and insurance)
U.S.A = $8.35 CDN flat rate ( approx. $6.15 US)

PRODUCT INFORMATION
All our deodorants come in a 2.5 oz BPA Free traditional deodorant tube.
**PLEASE NOTE that during the warmer weather, the deodorant can soften a bit. Please try to keep it in a cool place or just pop it in the fridge for about 10 mins to solidify again. This does not impact the effectiveness of the product.
My pits are sensitive and some other brands gave me a rash, what do you recommend?
Some people have reported irritation using deodorants with a high level of baking soda in the formula. We have a Sensitive Skin Formula that has been created for those with sensitive skin prone to irritation/rashes and seeking an effective and all natural option without baking soda.
The special ingredient is Diatomaceous Earth. The odor eliminating properties of Diatomaceous Earth (DE) make it an effective ingredient for homemade deodorant. It's a great way to protect against body odor even if you have very sensitive skin, and this simple recipe lets you pick from the scents you love.
If you've tried homemade deodorants before and have found that even they irritate your skin, don't give up yet. Diatomaceous earth is almost perfectly PH neutral, meaning it won't irritate skin that is sensitive to acidic or alkaline levels.
As always, we recommend that our products are not applied to the armpit area immediatley after shaving. It's prefereable to shave the night before, but if that's not the case, please do allow a few hours to avoid any irritation.
Do you test on animals? Are your products vegan?
All of our products are vegan. The Pit Shop does not test on animals, nor we do we work with companies that test on animals. All products are tested on our family and friends. They are our human guinea pigs!
What ingredients do you use?
Our products are formulated with Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, Organic Shea Butter, Arrowroot Powder, Sodium Bicarbonate (not in Sensitive Formula), Diatomaceous Earth, Candelilla Wax (Vegan) and Organic Essential Oils.

Do they smell strong? Will they overpower my perfume or cologne?
All of our natural deodorants are scented with organic essential oils. We do not use synthetic fragrance oils. Since the other ingredients in the product are meant to absorb odour, they are naturally lightly scented and should not overpower your perfume or cologne.
What is the shelf life of natural deodorant? Will it go bad?
We recommend use the product within 14 months. We also recommend you keep it away from sunlight and heat to prolong it's quality.
Refunds & Exchanges
Due to hygienic reasons of skin care products, The Pit Shop is not able to accept returns or give refunds ( unless there was an error on our end). However, we do want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please contact us within 20 days of your order being placed if you have any concerns with your order. We are happy resolve any issues on a case-by-case basis.

*We do not recommend the use of products containing essential oils during pregnancy. In this case, we suggest the Unscented deodorant which contains no essential oils. Please consult about using essential oils with your doctor if you are pregnant/nursing or have any serious health conditions before your place an order.
